Skywatch Friday - Lovely sky in Hesaraghatta near Bangalore

This picture was taken on a lazy evening when we drove from our home to Hesaraghatta lake on the outskirts of Bangalore. This is a huge lake but unfortunately was dry due to lack of rains. As we waited for sun to go down the horizon, we could capture the sky with a pole in the foreground.

The skies are beautiful and you've got lovely weather! In the Philippines, when we have clouds like that, they say it's a great day to go fishing because there is plenty to catch. It must be the same in India. Thanks for sharing. Mine's up to on our site :)

Nice. Do you know if there's a place around Bangalore where we can do star gazing in the night?

Thanks Rouse. The best places to do star gazing is to go out of the city an drive for 50 KMs. A new camping place 80 KMs form Bangalore called "Camp Linger" should be a good option. Google for details
